Part of our concertina panel range.

These panels have been engineered to be freestanding by supporting each other in a concertina structure. Every panel has two loops on the left hand side and a corresponding pair of hooks on the right. We have many different designs that are interchangeable. The hire price is for ONE panel in the selected design added to your order. You can choose multiple designs. To add other styles of panel, please search ‘panel’.

Constructed of blackout fabric on a light-weight wooden frame, each panel only weighs 4kg without it’s foot. A single person can carry one panel and it takes two people to set them up as one panel needs holding while the other is lowered over the loop and eye mechanism.

The panels come with a removable anti-slip foot that helps to keep them weighted down and secure. However these panels need special attention to safety. For safety we recommend the following:

- Not for use outdoors. Must only be used indoors on a flat floor. They will not stand on floors such as marquee matting, cobbled floors or uneven barn floors.

- Must be kept away from strong drafts, i.e open windows and doors.

- A minimum of 4 panels is strongly recommended; the more you have the stronger the structure will be. Panels can be any design within the range.

- Panels are used up against walls as a backdrop rather than in the middle of a room as a divider.

- Each panel has a minimum concertina angle of 110O, with 130o to 145o  being optimum. If all the panels have an angle of 130o then each would take up 122cm of space rather than their length of 135cm. They would be 60m away from the wall at this angle.

- If it is possible to tether each end panel to a heavy object then this will provide extra security - but this is at your own discretion.

Like all our props we provide an internal risk assessment, but site-specific risk assessments are down to the individual hirer.
